Thank you! Hey, being a photographer and all, if you didn't read my journal; do you have any ideas on good ways to photograph oil paintings? I usually get glares or the color washes out...

hmm i've had the same problem; i've got some of my oil paintings in my gallery which my brother and i took photos of and you can see the glare which is irritating. i suppose if you make sure there is enough natural light which doesnt reflect off the paint then thats probably the best way. the same happens with pencil sketches where the pencil is too dark and shiny, which is again v irritating. im not really the right person to ask...if you find out please let me know!! and with the colour...i suppose you can touch that up in photoshop, but i dont know about you but i always feel a bit guilty and cheating when i alter my photos on the computer :/
