Currently a Canon 60D and lenses are - mostly EF 50mm f/1.8 and then I have an EF 85mm f/1.8 and EF-S 18-55mm IS kit lens

Is the EF 50mm is a fixed lens? Are there advantages to fixed lens? I'm just starting out and kinda interested in the tools other photographers are using. Do you have any recommendations for a good macro lens? I currently have a Canon T3i Rebel, EF-S 18-55mm IS kit lens and EF-S 55-250mm lens.

The T3i is pretty cool! Good choice
Yes, the 50mm is a fixed focal lens. I love it...like...a lot. Sometimes its bokeh is harsh but I can go over it. This lens is absolutely a must-have. Buy it, definitely. There is a huge difference between this one and the EF-S 18-55 which is not so creative. The 50mm gives you more blurred background which is great and allows you to shoot in darker places (larger aperture = shorter shutter speed = not so many blurred photos). The only disadvantage is its plastic body. It really feels like a toy in your hands. Seems fragile too. But what we could want...for the price (about 100$) it is an awesome bargain. Also Canon has 50mm f/1.4 USM. Except its wider aperture (f/1.4 vs 1.8) and USM autofocus motor + better build quality it is not so worth it. The 50mm f/1.8 gives you more for less money. But all this depends on your financial situation.
Macro? I personally don't know macro lenses as well as all large aperture ones but what I've heard and everybody likes it...is Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 macro and all 100mm macro lenses from Tamron, Sigma or Tokina. I think there you cannot make any mistake.

Is that 100 dollar 50mm fixed lens a Canon lens or Stigma? I definitely would be interested in it. I enjoy the range of options between my 18-55mm and 55-250mm because between them both I have a range of 18-250mm. The 55-250mm was a 350 dollar lens which I found quite affordable at the time. I really appreciated having it when I was taking pictures of kids tubing at camp and while I was on the boat, I could get close-ups of there faces are they hit the waves. Priceless shots.
A choice I can't decide between is whether to buy a Canon Mark II or buy Photoshop and Lightroom or buy all the accessories like more lens, external flash, tripod, stereo bullet microphone, and things along those lines. In your opinion what is the best investment? It would take some time to save up for either option.

Canon. Sigma doesn't produce this cheap fixed lenses
Hahah yes, I understand sometimes it is great to have some universal lens...or zoom lens. I find zooms and lenses like 18-250mm unusable for me. I rather have some fixel focal lenght and search for the right angle...I know sometimes it is not possible to get the right shot but I still like it.
If I were you and had these possibilities....I would buy some new lens. Zoom like 24-70 f/2.8 could be a good choice...and as I can see, you are probably not so interested in fixed lenses...but I would buy Sigma 50mm f/1.4 which is a great choice...or my dreamy Canon EF 85mm f/1.2. Because the final photo most depends on used lens (and on a photographer too). I wouldn't buy Photoshop or something like that because it is not necessary if you don't need it for your work (due to the license rights). If you want to try something new...also you can buy some lights or flashes.

I'm not sure how I'll like a fixed lens until I try one out. I'm really considering buying the fixed lens.
