My son is 12 years old. He loves to draw, and wants to be a cartoon artist someday.I too, enjoy drawing. However, all of my artwork comes from a very technical background of a draughtsman. Everything I draw is must be before me as I draw, is free from expression or emotion, and is like taking a photograph the hard way.
My son, however, has real innate talent. His artwork comes from his mind, is expressive and imaginative. While he is still very young, and developing his skills, I see real potential.
So the purpose of this deviant's page is pride in my child's work.
I know there are many wonderful artists out there on Deviant Art. I would appreciate any encouraging comments or suggestions that may be helpful to my son.
