I notice youβre from Sweden. I visited there years ago!
I've found that most people here in the U.S. don't know much their
own country, much less anyone else's.
I post prayer updates about different countries. Part of the reason is to raise
awareness about what's going on in the rest of the world. If I notice someone
on DA is from another country, If I've done their country I let them know.
Its my way of letting them know that others are thinking about their home.

Interesting, but I can't say I agree with all that you pray for, seeing that I'm not christian. But I respect that you are. We all have free will by god (according to the Bible, correct?) so for us to believe different things are fine.
I feel like the facts you have about sweden is irrelevant in your prayer, also considering that it is written. Facts can be looked up anywhere on internet, that is not why people come to this site, they come here for inspiration and art. A prayer should be about feelings and what good you wish, atleast that's what I think. I believe your prayer it would have been alot better if you had focused on your feeling and thoughts more about sweden, not about its facts. It would give it a nicer poetic touch. Thanks for the comment!

One of the reasons I post the facts is to let people know what's
going on in other countries and to give them things to pray for specifically.
I've always been very big on info. You may have noticed that I've made
tons of lists! My name lists are quite popular; especially my Japanese ones!
A lot of Manga/Anime writers have said that they find them helpful.
But I have posted photos and poems and well!

...and I must add, now that I looked closer on your prayer I'm somewhat angered. You write about the SamΓt and Islam as if their faith is "incorrect", I don't know if this is what you meant, but it's the undertone I felt when I read it. I respect your faith and you should respect that other people, such as the SamΓt and Islam choose to believe in something else.
