Dude, I hear you on the overall illiteracy of DeviantART. Hell, the more I look at the general populace as they piddle around on internet chat groups and online message boards, the more I realise that most people don't even know how to spell monosyllabic words let alone form simple sentence structure; even others are completely foreign to the concept of using a fucking dot between the ending of one thought and the starting of another.
But you've inspired me. You speak the truth: nobody reads anymore. People here much rather stare at overly doctored digital photographs that have absolutely no hidden meaning to them other than what's staring straight back into their uninspired faces.
But there are still some people out there that do write, and those are the people who we can inspire to keep doing soβespecially those who continue to shock and push the boundaries of the conservative mainstream. Not only will it give reason for others to keep doing their thing, but it will also introduce us to others who share a common interest.
