# About me

My name is Nichol, but my friends call me Nikki. I'm the voice of New Era Artwork.

I'm an Art Education major working on my degree at Augustana College. I also speak a bit of Japanese, and intend to travel to Japan next summer.
I teach Japanese and Creative Writing classes at Woodlawn Arts Academy in IL. Yes, I do a bit of writing too. I actually do a bit of everything art-related, but my strongest areas are in photography and painting.

I'm hoping to branch out as a professional artist starting this year and begin selling my work through craft stores and fairs. I'm also looking to start investing in gallery showings.

1) A play with the exponent (to 1+11i) in my formula "extended compasses". See my journal [link] and the linked article.

2) zooming, rotating, and a nice color gradient gave rice to [link]

3) Performing a mysterious double rotation (requiring at least four spatial dimensions) I came up with [link] . Read the Artist's Comments under that deviation ;) (Wink)

4)Performed a zoom in the lower left in that motive and changed the gradiant :) (Smile) AS always, no filters or post works :D (Big Grin)

Now you probaly not dare asking me any mor questions rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl However many of my fractals are the results of shorter or longer trips in the mysterious parameter spaces OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG If you are caught in in the fractal world and wanna produce professional motives, I strongly would recommend you to get Ultra Fractal (sorry not free). Then you can run my parameter files, being there in most of my deviations, and maybe get a hang of my way to the result ;) (Wink)

Oh my goodness that's a lot of math o.O hahaha Once I have more time to play around with Fractal Forge I'll see what loveliness I can come up with.

Well, almost no math at all, maybe with the exception of point 3 ;) (Wink) A 4D space enabling double perpendicular rotations is almost occult OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG just look at the illustrations in article 21 [link] , and then maybe in article 22 [link] , where you also have the manual Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow!

For sure you will come up with some loveliness :D (Big Grin) Just zoom a little bit deeper Thumbs Up
