Thank you. I'm sure you'll get there. Your plushies look nice and add to your experience. Once you move on to different fabrics you'll see that they can make a world of a difference too.

Aw of course! Thanks. Iβve been hoping to upgrade from fleece with nicer kinky or something once I can actually earn money from Etsy.Β

But thanks for taking the time to talk to me about all this! I havenβt found any good plush makers online, but youβre excellent.Β

True! When I sell some dragon characters on Etsy, Iβll look around. I never thought of velour or suede, but it would work!
The only reason I didnβt use better colored thread was because I have a cheap machine, and messing with the thread too much makes it break, or it breaks the spool and all the thread I wanted to take out got wasted anyways. Do you handsew?

You can always start out with just a few colors of minky, or some other fabric you can envision to be part in your plushing, and get to know the material without a huge cost. It's taken me many years to build up the fabric stock I have now. I started out with stretch velour (which was the closest to minky I could get at the time, since minky isn't very common here) , felt (for making prototypes) some low grade fake fur and upholstery suede (resembles brushed leather and works well for naked skin or critters with no fur such as reptiles or elephants. Felt and velour shouldn't be very expensive. :3
I've seen your plush, and I think it would be a good idea if you got some threads that are the same color as the fabrics you use. It should help disquise the thread in places where it becomes visible if the plush is stuffed too firmly. If you work with furry fabrics (minky or longer) the color of the thread isn't as important, as it will usually be hidden by the fur.Β
