Thank you, first of all, for taking the time to glance at my art work. I am an experimental photographer (in some translations this means I am teaching myself and learning along the way) having taken no classes in photography or photoshop.I am sure many, if not all, of you can relate to the feeling one gets when they submerge their mind into art. This is what drives me to continue learning different techniques in photography and photoshop.

Hi you certainly seem to have the skill and the eye for it. Add that to your passion and you will go far. Are you studying photography/arts at a college or something? Here in Melbourne we have 3 high quality photographic colleges and many of my students go on to study at them. I've been to Canada a couple of times when I was doing museum work (Worked in the Museum of Civilisation in Ottawa for a while just as it was opening.), but I didn't really investigate photography courses.

To be honest, I am just finishing up my first semester of Science at university, but have decided to make the switch to a BFA next semester. With my current University, I have the ability to travel to Europe and the US to study abroad. I think I will have many opportunities to work with people with the same style and interest

Way back when, you HAD to do physics and chemistry to even think about phoptography at Uni level. It was two years before you got to look at a camera. It was all about how the lenses worked and the chemicals. Fortunatly for me two of the Uni lecturers broke away and started a private college and we started by shooting lots of slides. In second semester we got to do basic black and white film and processing!
I tell my students to follow there dreams, and do what they are passionate about. If science does fit then try the photography and get to see the world! Pity they don't have exchanges with Australia though

I suppose the digital world kind of took over for photography
And they reduced the toxic chemicals in the film developers. I wish the science classes would fit in there somehow so I could get credit for them in an art degree 
I am passionate about photography. I want to learn so much, as much as possible. I would love one on one help too, but I live in a small town in BC Canada, and the photographers here are simple portrait photographers. There is one pro that was awarded BC Photographer of the Year in my town, but I don't know how to apply to be his assistant O.o
They do have exchanged to Australia actually, however, you have to be in the business degree to go
