Sure, I predominantly use Photoshop for all 2D work, I work pretty much all digitally now a days. If I'm using 3D for low poly modelling I still go back to 3DS Max and for digital sculpting I use Zbrush.

There are cheaper options and student packages available, Blender is a fantastic free 3D package.

Thank you very much Archonsfolly. I used to do the concept and some of the character models for Fable, I left Lionhead after Fable 2. The box art for F1 and 2 were painted by the insanely talented Jo Chen. In fact I think she has done all of the covers in the series.

I like to think of myself as a concept artist but I've covered a lot of art roles in games over the years. Concepting is easily my favourite. If you are already studying art then you are already heading in the right direction. Learning from others and just practice and passion about what you do can take you a very long way.

Thank you. Wow good memory, I forgot about Maze. Although I did the in game character I didn't create any of the concepts or sketches for that one and I dont have any old renders of him to share sorry. Maze's design was by a very talented chap called Angus Syme.
