You flatterer, hahaha! 😘 Tbh I've kind of been in a slump for the last few, er, months. 😕 I keep meaning to draw again and it keeps not happening... I want to say I'll get back into it but I also don't want to make promises I won't keep. So I guess if it happens it'll be a nice surprise for everyone!

Thanks! Indeed I spent a nice Christmas with my family. I'm kind of looking forward to being back to my own flat all nice and quiet tho, lol. The past year has unfortunately not been very productive for me in the art department, as you've doubtless noticed. 😒 I aim to do better in 2020 tho. I got a new art software that I need to explore, and I'd like to try my hand at some original work. Hopefully my DA page will see some activity in the next few months!

I did consider these characters when I was searching for potential pinup material in the Dumbo movie, but I didn't think they were suitable, which is why I picked the belly dancer from the drunken fantasy sequence although it is a very minor character.
As for why I didn't pick the female elephants: I discarded Dumbo's mom because her status as a mother would have been inappropriate for a representation as a pinup, and the other female elephants just didn't appeal to me. I don't find them very interesting/attractive characters.
More generally, I don't plan on doing any more Dumbo art at the moment. Also, I've found that elephant characters are very hard to turn into humans!

Umm, I was kind of wondering about that when I drew her, then I opted for the tentacles because I liked their wavy, dress-like aspect. But... I just might do a human version too, who knows!
