Returned to DevArt after an extended RL absence.Hello All *waves*
I live on the east coast of the US & am a "grandparent-aged" Harry Potter fanatic who discovered the Magic of Hogwarts 20 years ago. To this day Hedwig's Theme & Wonderous World are still ringtones on my phone & I read fanfics listening to HP soundtrack playlist of 181 songs-I told you fanatical. (^_^)
Although, I love canon ... my heart has always belonged to Fandom which had me totally & completely addicted even when I had to stare at art & read every single word on a desktop computer with a dial-up modem! Today - my Kindle is my King!
I personally only Sail the Harry/Draco Ship; however, I have the utmost respect for all Ships, people & pairings as I believe that each individual must select their own mate and in this big crazy world IF you find that one person who balances and completes you - grab on and never let go! Love can never be wrong!
Sad to say, I do not have story writing or artistic skills, however, I am an avid & addicted reader, reviewer & beta of both fanfics & art. I know that our wonderful artists & writers produce out of pure love of the subject matter – it does not pay their rent, put food on their table, get them promoted at work or complete their education –yet, they not only draw/write but they post their stories & art to share with us. With as much pleasure as our artists & writers have brought to me & the Fandom, I believe the least we can do is to review & try to reward the writers & artists for the blood, sweat, tears, heart & soul poured into their stories and works of art. (DON'T STEAL)
