ah yes, myspace is a natural phenomenon at the moment! great forum for people randomly searching for anything!

lol....not really that impressive, just hard work! ive known since i was 13 that this is all ive wanted to do so i do it! you are talented from what i have seen, just stick at it!

we all need peoples approval....no matter how much we all deny all art is very egotistical, so its heavenly to get someone who really likes your stuff! i tend not to bother with ignorant people unless they ask for help....fuck em!

hey!

i am actually doing a degree in professional musicianship with a specialisation in songwriting at the moment! studying at Brighton Insitute of Modern Music...amazing school run by pros. i also teach (guitar, songwriting and english!), gig a lot and write for others.
i think any art only gives you back what you put in. some people see a pretty picture, whilst others see the expression on the paint strokes. as creative people its hard to understand how people can be content with just accepting things and not understanding and empathising with them. some people hear my songs and just think they are catchy pop, some think my writing is benal whilst others have said my unusual writing style and lyrics are dark, expressive and humourous in that ironic way people like John Lennon and Jarvis Cocker favour.

at the end of the day its just opinions! as long as you believe in what you do it doesnt matter what people think.

art is about expression of the soul....if other people aren't able to comprehend our expression, or feel they need to impose order and logic and critique on it....what do they know?
