This gallery (ID) is for illustrations of the Dreamworks movie "Monsters vs. Aliens," and in particular illustrations for my fan fiction hosted under "Wordmangler" at Fanfiction.net. I am still getting the hang of computer-based art, which is very different from physical media, so these are also a bit a self-study learning experience for me. By which I mean hopefully they will get better as time goes by. Hopefully....I've added some of what I think are the best Ginormica-related works here (if I broadened it to general art I'd have thousands of pages). I've avoided the foot-fetish giantess-fetish and vore stuff and all the other overtly porno stuff that's out there in favour of ones that I think capture her character in some way.
I've also started adding a few works that I was really impressed by, especially in "Frozen" as I hope to add some of my own takes on that to both my written and drawn fan creations.

Thanks for that, and the Favourite and Badge and all that (not that I'm sure what the badges are...). I'm just a dabbler, and need a lot more practice. These are really just illustrations for my stories.

No problem. I really dug Monsters vs Aliens, especially the Ginormica character. Plus, you have such a variety of styles that you do very well. If you ever feel up to it, I would definitely like to see your takes on other characters.Β

Thanks. I'm still not comfortable with the anime style, though I would like to get better. I've thought about doing some of Link in a more realistic style, making him look more like a scary monster, actually. Come to think of it, a realistic group portrait could be fun to try (Doc with a real cockroach head?? Hmm...). I like trying to make the world of MVA as realistic as possible, which is what my fanfic [under Wordmangler at fanfiction.net if you're remotely interested] reflects. So I was quite pleased by how well "Ginormica Pleads for Her Freedom" came out.Β

Thanks for that - much appreciated, definitely. Always open to constructive criticism of course. In the one of Susan in her cell, I am not too happy with her legs, for example: the angles with the hips seem odd. Didn't use a model (photo), mind. I'm still getting the hang of computer-based painting....
My take on the "giantess" niche is purely character-driven, so will always remain consistent with the character of Susan Murphy as shown in the movie, and in my own fiction (this account really being set up purely to host illustrations for it). Which is admittedly a little darker, and a lot more serious.

My main FF story does feature an original character (monster), but she's not a giant. I'm working on an illustration or two of her with Susan, however.
Incidentally, what's your critique with the floor? I was a little lazy, and just used a still from the film for the background (wall, floor), so I'm not sure the perspective is quite right. Considering the rear wall slopes backwards, it's hard to be precise.
