I'm KEL, I adore southern rock, horror films and photographing people.
Putting emotion into my artwork is really important, I like to think that a lot of my portraits really express the feelings and personality of myself or the subjects being photographed. I'm a professional photographer, running my own portrait and wedding photography business, and I'm based in Somerset but originally from North Wales.

I have noticed them touring together, but not at this event I don't think. I saw them years ago (telling on my age!) in Kansas City, Missouri, when they had most of the live band members. I was in a rock group in high school/college (I am in the Memphis, Tennessee area) and we played a lot of Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels, 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, etc. You would have likely enjoyed the shows, maybe even become one of our "groupies", lol!

More story, since you responded back, lol! When I was a teen, two older uncles took me to Poet's Music Hall in Memphis (small venue) to see Johnny Van Zant when he was touring to support his solo EP (early 80's I think). We got to talk with him after the show outside the building and got pictures made and he signed my uncle's Rebel flag (still got it). He was wasted and was about to get in car with us until his manager grabbed him and shoved him into his sister's car (Van Zant sister lived in Memphis at the time). My uncle had the little EP on cassette tape for a while - I taught him how to play one of the songs on guitar - then the cassette was lost and we have not been able to find another copy since then. You ever come across it?
Oh, and LOVE 38 Special - seen them a few times as well!
