If you get a sec, check out my new groupΒ Thoughtful-Critiques . We're all about promoting each others art and helping each other to develop our styles through the use of comments and critiques. You can add your art to our gallery and you can help everyone else by submitting a critique/comment on someone else's work featured in the gallery.
Thanks again

Great!
I will submit some of my paintings for review. I'm preparing a new show for late year and I'll use the reviews for my booklet.
Thanks for this service

Alright. We're normally still not taking more submissions until I can get more critics, however I'll go ahead and place the two you've already submitted into the master in box.

We do, in fact, critique photography. The only type we do not do at this point is literature. Right now, I'm still trying to bring up our staff, but once that's done, we'll be back open to the public and you'll be welcome to submit work to be critiqued.

So how professional do you have to be to help giving critique? I could help if I'm concidered good enough ^_^

Firstly, sorry for the delayed response. Normally you would have received a reply sooner, however I lost my admins months ago.
Basically, I'm looking for thorough as possible. The more information, the better off it is, however sometimes we do get work that is hard to critique, and we've had to accept things that are under three paragraphs long. We have a few samples in our gallery of what we do accept if you're interested.
As a side note, I will be going out of town until next wednesday, so it may be a bit before I reply. Hopefully I'll hear from you before I leave.

Hey there.
Normally we let you give us a piece you want critiqued, however right now I'm still waiting on write-backs from a few potential critics. I hope we get up and running back the way we should be soon, so we can help everyone, including yourself

Wow...randomly surfing dA does find you the most interesting pages ^_^ I've been looking everywhere to find a place to get professionally critiqued (for some reason "kewl!!" and "that's so awesome, I wish I could draw like you" aren't very helpful in getting better (but they do boost the ego)) I'll have to note you when you're fully up and running for now, I shall watch you

Not a lot of people did since we were down for the entire year of 2005 and over half of this year. When we open back up, feel free to give us a submission for something that needs to be critiqued : ) Also, I have a copy of our critique guidelines in the journal which should help with giving comments as well.

Hello! I was just looking at a deviation when I saw a really long response from you. Your suggestions are incredibly detailed and true. I am suprised you have the time to make such good critiques.

Our staff is dedicated to giving real critiques, no matter how long it needs to be It does help, however, that we have multiple critics who only work on one to three submissions a week, as it lets them be as detailed as they need to be without stressing over quantity.
Thanks for dropping by

Wow, this club looks really interesting! I found out about it through Gorshank (I love him, he's a sweetie). The critiques are so long and detailed. I am impressed with what I have read so far.
I would love it if someone picked my stuff to pieces,
but it's not up to scratch for what I need to accomplish (I know that). But...I will be watching you from now on

So what is the criteria for becoming a critic within *ProCritique?
π: 0 β©: 1
ProCritique In reply to hyperetic [2007-01-07 04:59:32 +0000 UTC]
Basically, I just need those who are willing to put the time and effort into a complete and thorough critique of a piece of work. I have many samples of which in the gallery, as well as a critique guideline in the journal. Right now, I need critics in all media as the majority of the critics from 2006 are no longer available. If you're interested, go ahead and read what all we have, and if you're still interested, note me. I will send you a test critique, and if all goes well, I'd love to add you to the staff.
