So I guess it's time to let you guys know a little bit about myself..
I've been aroun dA for some time now, but I have this weird thing of closing accounts, getting lost into multible time vortex and then returning with new accounts :D
I enjoy fanart as much as I enjoy original art, this page I will only use for fanart though :)

Hi! I make them all in toon boom animate pro, :) (Smile) I make the backgrounds in photoshop and add the effects in after effects

oh cool!! im looking for some kind of art program... not necessarily an animating one, something like photoshop..
that is relatively cheap. do you have any suggestions?

If you have photoshop you can animate in there! it's actually really good :) (Smile)
For animation I know pencil is a free software you can use, I haven't tried it out but I heard it was pretty good for being a free software.
Well, for art program I really recomend Paint tool SAI, the lineart comes neat and I used it for a long time in my years of focusing on drawing, it's not a free software but I recomend it A LOT :D (Big Grin)
If you want to check it out you can see infinity of great tutorials on youtube so you can see what you can do with them
