I have very oooold and ugly CanoScan LiDe...210, I think. And yes, I have to edit images to a different degree - scanner captures different media with different degree of "incorrections"

Not invasive at all! xD
It happens differently, mostly because it always varies how often I'll have to get distracted from the work and etc. If I have an opportunity to work leisurly all day, than a day would be enough. But most often I work on such pieces little by little within a week.

it is interesting to see how long it takes for an artist to develop a work and helps me to gauge an...acceptable time limit depending on what style and level of detail goes into it.
Also i noticed you are starting your own development and was wondering if you would like a hand with anything? (free of course i am just looking for experience)
