lol, tis ok. I am just a little stook on a 3D model, and was looking for some anatomical help... I left the spot that I am still stuck with and have moved to a different part to bide my time with until someone is around

Thanks! I'm outlining the rest of the story right now. All that's up right now was for a novel in a month contest. I hope to get back on the writing soon, though.
You're welcome! I really liked your collection.

well, i am keen to read more... as i usually am with new / interesting stuff
thanks, it took a while to accumulate, and even longer to try to get it all into one shot, the camera is actually against the ceiling in my room

Thanks, man. I hope it stays interesting and gets more so. I have an idea of where everything leads... there will be two other parts, Wendigo and Wulver.
That... is huge. I love weapons, and I'm making a three-section staff right now. What's your favorite part of the collection?

Renegades0ul In reply to RedOctoberRising [2012-01-06 12:45:11 +0000 UTC]
well, i don't think i can pick a fave, tbh... lol i love the 'hunting' knife (the big one), the katana's (ones with the blood groove down the middle of them) and the bow ... but i also love the rifles, the pistols and the other knives almost equally ... and here i am wanting more or even to make some decorative ones of my own creation
Just two other parts seems like there would have been more

Cool. How long did it take to assemble it so far?
Well, I should explain. The first part is a book called Skin-Walker, which focuses on Southwest America and the skin-walker legends. The second book is Wendigo, which takes place mostly in Canada, and the final book is Wulver, in Great Britain. They're all book length.

Weapons are expensive. I have a staff my coach gave me and I need to get back to working on my three-section.

So how did that 3D rendering of the line art I made you go? Have you started/finished it?

Renegades0ul In reply to sugarpoultry [2011-10-03 15:06:45 +0000 UTC]
Yea i started it, I have some WIP shots of the torso arms and legs... I am trying to work my head around a basic frame for the head ... As i need to remember to allow it to work for animation naturally its giving me a headache

Also if and when you restart your 3d models, you should avoid the T-Stance. I left a comment on one of your journal posts, but short version is that it is now outdated and flawed.

Renegades0ul In reply to StingerSplash01 [2011-07-31 12:20:15 +0000 UTC]
im not using the T-stance anymore, but if you read 3D artist or 3D world then most of the models they build for animating do use the T-stance ...

I thought I would ask both of you, can I use your commission from Sugarpoultry as a reference for a future 3d model of mine as well?

I just Converted some things into metric...it was a pain just to do Fehrenheit to Celsius, but that's the thing with the US, we always got to be different. Why did I convert it? Because I was bored

The english speaking ones, do you think I have enough time to translate that all in German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, etc? But yea...Canada uses metric. I see a lot of Canadians in my state. I might put up pic of the area I live in, 'tis a beautiful place. I live in a Rainforest, 200 inches annually...you aren't going to make me convert that too are ya?

Yea, California is the most populous state in the US. 34 million people, where as Oregon (My state) has only 3.8 million. Most live in a certain part and the rest is wilderness. Oregon is California's Canada. Quebec is where a majority of frenxch speakers. Vancouver, BC not so much. The biggest Challenge is driving on the Right side of the road.

haha thats not that hard realy... the only thing i would find hard is signs ... and laws (road laws they obv differ)

OmuYasha In reply to Renegades0ul [2010-11-16 00:31:14 +0000 UTC]
Most of the road laws are common sense, though knowing physics puts you at an unfair advantage of others. I have a feeling the british driving system is similar to american and canadian.
