I was stalking your gallery... I have to say, you are a brilliant tailor! And you're pretty too! I'd love to see pictures of your hoodies in better quality, if you don't mind uploading them

Are you going to do a Loli blouse tutorial anytime soon? I'm going to try out your skirt tutorial since you make it so easy to understand.
π: 0 β©: 1
RhodyGunn In reply to hyujin9 [2010-05-20 02:18:16 +0000 UTC]
I think that blouses are far to complicated to do a tutorial for. I might do a cut-sew tutorial, with a basic blouse.
Once you try, ,show me! I wanna see.

I like your lolita skirt tutorial... could you please tell me is your patern a circle skirt? or is it just a rectangular shape the length of your waist?
π: 0 β©: 1
RhodyGunn In reply to greykatt [2010-06-14 19:04:46 +0000 UTC]
... It's a rectangle. Not the length of waist, 2.5x the length.

I am going to make some lolita stuff by using your tutorials when I next go to town and buy the stuff I need...I am very excited ^_^ I am very new to Lolita, and love it! Cor blimey, those shops are really expensive o.O Do they do overseas shipping?
π: 0 β©: 1
RhodyGunn In reply to lizjowen [2009-11-09 21:30:13 +0000 UTC]
Some of them do.
I like to find things second-hand, for example on the Livejournal egl_comm_sales community, and internet shops like Closet Child.

lizjowen In reply to RhodyGunn [2009-11-11 17:40:46 +0000 UTC]
Oooh! Sounds cool! ^_^ But I might just make my own Or I would buy plain blouses and just add bows and them etc ^_^
π: 0 β©: 1
RhodyGunn In reply to lizjowen [2009-11-11 23:50:56 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, cut sew and remaking is fun.
I like making my own stuff, but I just adore buying brand things... There's this kind of... thrill to spending wayyy too much money. Hahaha.

lizjowen In reply to RhodyGunn [2009-11-12 13:07:50 +0000 UTC]
Very! But sometimes it can get annoying and it would be better to just make your own >.<
Ooh! Well I haven't bought brand stuff before ^_^ I really want to though Dx
π: 0 β©: 1
RhodyGunn In reply to lizjowen [2009-11-12 14:54:19 +0000 UTC]
Maybe save up, just for one skirt or a jsk.
I wanna buy brand purses and shoes... I should do that.

lizjowen In reply to RhodyGunn [2009-11-12 18:33:51 +0000 UTC]
Oooh that would be cool I found an amazing online shop, but my mum won't buy me any of the stuff Dx so I'll just get it myself
Oooh that sounds amazing! For shoes I normally wear dollies ^_^ They look like those ballerina pumps ^_^
Question: How can you look lolita when wearing jeans? My mum doesn't want me to wear skirts in winter Dx
π: 0 β©: 1
RhodyGunn In reply to lizjowen [2009-11-15 02:31:31 +0000 UTC]
Mrr, you can't. D:
You CAN however dress Kodona, which is "boystyle" in pants. But, not jeans. Never jeans D:
Look at: lolitafashion.org
Read it all, it's the page for beginning lolitas.
What website did you find?
And, if you want to wear skirts, ask your mother if you can wear tights. Like those nice heavy tights that are really warm
π: 0 β©: 1
lizjowen In reply to RhodyGunn [2009-11-15 09:28:01 +0000 UTC]
Oooh I've been on that site before ^_^ I've read a lot of lolita fashion sites, but none of them mention jeans Dx apart from one which said 'but if your health is affected then please wear suitable clothes, don't let fashion effect your health' or something like that Dx that's why I asked you ^_^
So yeah...I might just wear really thick tights, but I don't know where to get them from >.<

D: Suckish H&M. Lol.
That's good.
Hmm, I ordered some stuff from Bodyline last night. Their stuff is often poor quality, but a lot of it is good. You just have to find out. And, they have tons of items that are relatively inexpensive. It's great lol.
