2. Sound files aren't something you can upload on DA. However, if you put sound files in a movie, it can be uploaded. For example, when I need my voice or song to be on DA, first I use the free version of Videopad Video Editor. It'll allow me to make a "movie" with a song+image. I save it as an SWF because DA hates me. When uploading your SWF vid, be sure it has a preview image. Basically a little image to show what it might be. In case of category, just use the Flash category. If you ever need to check your file, you can always click "Save and quit" just to view it in Stash. When you're ready, upload :3
