Btw, I wanted to let you know, I am making headway on that story I wanted to create all those years ago. The characters have changed; so too have their names. But their weapons remain the same. However, I might ask you to draw some new designs if that's ok!

Hmm...it's been a long time since I've drawn any weapons. My heart hasn't been in it the way it used to be, but I would like to try it again. And if I do, I'd like to try my hand at drawing some other types of weapons.

Okay. Think you could try your hand at a scythe?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RoninPsycho In reply to LarkinSkye [2013-06-03 09:20:28 +0000 UTC]

Hmm...I could do that. What kind of scythe are you talking about here? Something like your traditional "Death scythe", or a more functional warscythe?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

LarkinSkye In reply to RoninPsycho [2013-06-03 10:07:25 +0000 UTC]

A war-scythe themed around light. I would like for there to be a small but noticeable yin (of yin and yang) symbol behind the blade of the scythe. I also want it to look clean and organized as opposed to its twin scythe which would look more chaotic. I know that's really vague, but I think it gives you a bit of creative license as well. Let me know if you'd like any more details.

Also, you have complete freedom in coming up with is sibling scythe, the one centered around darkness. Good luck!

RoninPsycho In reply to ProtoCross [2012-08-27 05:16:51 +0000 UTC]

Well, I meant a fan of the Mega Man series/franchise. Not just the character. XD I'm more of a fan of Zero, too, as I'm sure you could guess. The Mega Man Zero series was one of my favorites, right along with Mega Man Battle Network. I wish they had continued Battle Network, though, instead of ruining it with the half-assed sequel series, Mega Man Star Force. :/

what i liked in that series was life aura and darksword in the first of sf but yes the coukdve done better maybe made it to where you can get more perks like in bn series or just brought network transmittion 2 btw my spelling sucks

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RoninPsycho In reply to ProtoCross [2012-09-05 07:03:16 +0000 UTC]

Nah, your spelling's not that bad. I've seen worse. Anyway, I thought the battle system was ruined in Star Force. It was, essentially, perfected in the Battle Network series, but then they wanted to try to make it 3D, which is fine. There's no problem with taking advantage of the full capabilities of the game system. However, the 3D looked shitty, and as if that wasn't enough, they changed the perspective of the field to an over-the-shoulder thing that was horrendous and even cut your mobility drastically by shrinking your side of the battlefield, while leaving the enemy with much more space to move. Then there was the half-baked storyline and enemies.... It all just went to shit with that series. I tried playing the second Star Force game, too, to see if they made it any better (and I was REALLY hoping they'd bring Bass/Forte back), but they didn't. I couldn't even finish the second game. It just wasn't the same anymore. :/

The third was ok they gave better field advantages and brought a protoman move in(swordffighter) and introduced darkchip liike weapons

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RoninPsycho In reply to ProtoCross [2012-09-18 11:26:44 +0000 UTC]

Still, it's just not the same. I was a huge fan of Bass in the Battle Network series. In every game, I tracked him down, and worked on my strategies until I could beat him effortlessly. In Battle Network 2, in the Secret W3 area where you can find Bass randomly, I even managed to beat him in under 10 seconds on a regular basis, fairly. Sometimes, when I got really lucky, I could beat him in under 3 seconds. I loved the challenge of fighting and beating him in every game. I just wish the game had gained more popularity than it did. I wanted people I could battle with, but the only person I ever had, really, was my brother, and he was never much of a challenge. And if I beat him too many times, he'd just get mad. :/

Heh i fought my sister's boyfriend he wasnt much of a challenge and i made his hitpoiints higher than mine and he had better chips i faught bass in bn6 the third time i used elec cross to kill him easy cause of its over all speed bass in bn 5 tho was a cakewalk copared to bn 6 and bn 3 i also have been beating knight man under the big old 5 minutes i need to work on that my net battle skills are high bun i must work on it to get thru cosmo man in nebula area.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RoninPsycho In reply to ProtoCross [2012-09-20 06:04:39 +0000 UTC]

Haha! Sounds kinda like me. XD When I first learned about the Battle Network series, Battle Network 2 had been out for a little while, and a friend of mine had it. I got the game, and after only a few weeks or so, I beat him pretty easily, and he also had much more HP and battle chips than I had. He was a sore loser, though, because he turned his game off before I could get a chip from him as a prize, and he refused to battle me again after that, unless it was the practice battles that don't give prizes.

But wow, it takes you almost 5 minutes to beat Knight Man? I've been able to S-rank every single boss in each game. Some are harder than others, but once you get their attack patterns down, and get the right chips in your folder, along with a good strategy, it's not too hard. I wish I could battle with you, though. That series was one of the ones I was best at out of all the games I've ever played, and I've never had a good challenge.

No, I don't. I was half-joking about something with someone, and they took it to heart, when I meant no harm. I really don't have anything against male Gardevoirs. Hell, I've role played with someone who has a male Gardevoir character, along with someone else who has a female Gallade character who's in a relationship with a different male Gardevoir character.
