yesss. I'm a witch and plants and mushrooms decorate all sorts of things I own and places I go haha! It's a good motif, and I've been considering adding plants and whatnot to my profile but I couldn't find anything that blended well with a dark background. I like keeping a dark background on my profile because it's easier on my eyes and calming. I'll probably pixel some things myself for decorating when I have time tho, because yours inspired me!

I work on them really hard but there's few that I'm really happy with. Nothing to do but keep pushing on and practicing more though, and people like you definitely help me with the confidence to do it!

Ah cool!  I'm a witch myself    I also love crystals and wanted to add them to my profile too, but I didn't really find any I liked that much.  I might look again though.
Dark colors are much easier on my eyes as well!  I wish you luck in finding some good decorations to go with your profile.  I'm glad I could inspire you!!  ;o;

Witch party!! Yea I also looked for crystals but didn't see any that I loved. Some crystals are also on my pixeling to-do list! Yea I definitely feel the same about making people feel good about their art. The more of us that take the time to comment and give nice feedback, the stronger the artist community gets. I'd honestly be leagues better than I am now if I got comments like yours more often, and I know a lot of other people would too. Less people would get discouraged and quit for long periods of time and feel like nobody cared :0

Ah cool!  Yeah and I'm pretty picky about what icons I like too.  There was only one stamp I liked for crystals/gemstones haha
While I love pastels in general, I just wasn't a big fan of those pastel crystal points.  idk it just didn't do it for me.

I agree!  I try really hard to comment on as much artwork as I can, without leaving bland comments like "it's nice" you know?  Artists like to know what aspects look good in their pieces, so I point out my favorite parts when I can.  It's true!  A lot of people have gotten into the habit of just favoriting and leaving, and while the faves are nice and all, I would rather get one comment than 10 favorites!  Comments are so much more encouraging!
It's difficult for me to keep up conversations because of my social anxiety, but I do my best.  On that note, lemme apologize in advance if it takes a long time for me to respond to messages.   I might be online and not reply for a couple days, and it's not because I don't want to talk!  I promise.

Ah it's totally fine!  I understand, I try to do that too.  It sucks getting on dA after like a day and having 300+ notifications and 95% are just deviations.  I try to stay on top of altering my watch list, so I don't get scraps and journals and etc from some people.
That's so nice of you though!  I'm also a big fan of characters (developed or not) so if you have a toyhouse, I'd love to check it out too.  c:
And I'm kind of busy with gift art right now, but if you're ever interested in doing an art trade with me, I would be ecstatic!

Oh, no need to apologize. I'll never get offended, even if you just end up never replying. I have an anxiety disorder and a lot of social anxiety too, so I definitely know how it is. I always feel awful for it but sometimes I end up ...not knowing quite what to say, so I put it off and then get anxious about putting it off for too long, and sometimes just never reply. So seriously don't worry about that at all, and know I'll probably be the same way.

Yea I was offline for a week recently when I was moving, and came back to like 2000 notifications and only one of those was actually a comment for me, and like 3 faves. The rest were alllll deviations/journals/polls etc. I'm getting it in control though haha. Oh man, yea I do have a toyhouse but I really need to actually...post in it. I've been meaning to start posting characters in there and plan to tackle that soon. I'd let you add me now but there's basically nothing in there yet. u _ u What's your touhouse name, I'd like to check yours out too~

I'm busy with adopt batches (I'm really broke and need money for christmas so it's a priority rn), gift art, and some owed art too. But I'd definitely be up for an art trade after December's over?

I'm exactly the same way, so you never have to worry about that with me either!  Sometimes I just don't have the energy to reply, but it's not because I don't want to chat!

Holy shit, that's insane.  Yeah I can't follow any group deviations, those are always the worst!  I think I only watch for like 5 group deviations.  It's easy to get overrun by posts.

I love the setup this site has.  I hope they can make it run faster soon.  Sometimes it's really really slow, but it's great for organizing characters and adopts.  I update it the most frequently, so it has the most accurate info on my OCs and such  ^^
