At my school, it's called Portfolio Art... It's one level down from our AP art program (I don't know if you know about AP, but it's basically a college-level class while in high school). In fact, the AP and Portfolio people are in the same class, we just have slightly different assignments. :3 Last year I took Foundations in Art, and this year I was supposed to take Conceptual Art before Portfolio, but my teacher knew I wanted to take AP when I was a senior (next year) so she let me into the Portfolio class~ It's been fun so far. x3

Oh~ owo I've heard of that class, but i never really got into it :U Since, y'know, i was already in my advanced class, and i was getting homeschooled the next year X3 And i know AP~ Almost all of my classes were AP when i was still in school *nodnod*

Well, it mostly depends on what we want to do. Right now, the assignment is 'foreshortening' so we can do anything related to that - any medium, any subject, etc. We're also working on a pastel still-life of decorative pillows... That sounds kind of funny, but it's cooler if you actually see it. xD I've only been in school for about two weeks now, so I'm not sure exactly what we'll do after this, but I guess it basically depends on how much control we want to have over the class. My teacher said that if we've got a bunch of ideas, we can draw any of them if she says they're okay. If we don't have many ideas, or an incomplete idea, she'll suggest something. :3
Ooh, thank you~ But I picked one today. (It's mostly dark blue, light blue, purple, and yellow, but it'll have a ton of colors in it when I'm done.)
