Is skipping to Act 5 really that bad? [link] :P

It's not so bad as it is annoying.
Like whenever you have a friend that just blatantly skips the entire series to act five, which I feel the need to point out: starts on page 3889, just to get to the trolls because """that's the best part""" is just like-- wow. It's like having a person walk into fatal fram right when you start learning about the Kiryuu twins.
I mean sure, the twins are my favorite, but you can really only appreciate their character and struggle in the context of the story.
The trolls are like that. They are really great characters and have a really good story. But when you take them out of the context that is acts 1-4, you suddenly loose all value and direction in the story. Which is why these fans are kind of annoying because they don't understand and comprehend the trolls as characters in a plot. How could they? The don't know the plot!
So the characters get grossly misrepresented even moreso.
Additionally, these people usually don't care about the greater story, which is sO MADDENING I JUST-- but that's a personal irk.
However if skipping to act 5 is what gets you interested enough to read the whole damn thing, absolutely pursue it. That's how I got into it. I jumped in at act 3 before my friends convinced me to go back and start at the beginning.
However if you just read the section of act 5 where the trolls are, you have my pity and may god be with you, because GOOD LUCK TRYING TO UNDERSTAND THAT WITHOUT THE PRIOR CONTEXT.
