Well, graduated with my Masters degree back in May, which was great, but didn't get into a doctoral program, so I have to find a job. Problem is, even with my advanced degree, haven't been able to even get an INTERVIEW for all but one of the 35+ places I have applied. I've been searching since May, and am running out of money. :C I don't want to move back home, since job options are even fewer there, but will only make it another month up here... so pretty much just struggling. Was sick for a month with a bad sinus infection/cold too, which didn't help. So yeah... really been killing my art motivation. :C

I certainly hope you have been better than I have been!

wow D: masters degree(I'm barely halfway through my courses to get a certificate). So fancy, but apparently not as helpful as I've heard. My ethics teacher last semester said that having a degree doubles your chances of getting work. For me, however, that would double my 1% chance to 2... >__o haven't had an interview since last year. Ouchies for me too. But I'm in school currently(taking debate) and will be for at least another year, while also job hunting and learning to drive(again ) I was also sick but that was only for a week... a month is much worse *pets*
I hope that you get some sort of magical lucky response from somebody soon. Being at home isn't fun... it's where I am still and it sucks eggshaped things.

I think it really depends on what your degree is in... most of the time though, it really does improve your chances!
And sorry for the slow reply. Kinda curled up in a hole and didn't go on the internet for a month or so. ;A; Finally feeling better now that I got a job (and a decent one, even if only at a department store). Start working tomorrow, and trying to get myself back to normal.

But I am happy to hear that you are in school! I absolutely love school though, so I am totes biased. ;3 And I hope that you manage to get a job (or even better, already have!). Hopefully at least BEING in school will help. Some employers like to hire people that are going for higher education.
