I hope to work in animation. I am currently an animation student at Lincoln University. I enjoy doing digital art work, acrylic paintings and sculptures.I work on a small comic called Finding Sanity. It has no regular upload basis but please keep an eye on it. I enjoy a random sense of humour.

Hi Estelle. My Name is Peter and I am applying for animation at Lincoln University and I was wondering if you could tell me mo about the course? I've read the course description on the university's website but I guessed that there's more to it than that.

It's pretty much what it says on the tin. We're in a nice building, the tutors are nice and pretty much very helpful as they can be. Still try and learn a bit of maya in your spare time, it'll help.

Ok thanks but what kind of things do you learn? Is animation taught from the ground up e.g. ball bounces and walk cycles or are you thrown in the deep end? Do they teach you thigs like composition and background design or is that left up to you?

Yep they basically start you slow and teach you basics along side character/layout design.

I was going to go to stafford but the area and the course didn't look great. They seemed very focused on stop motion, which is great if you like stop motion but it's hard to get a job in it.
