I wouldn't mind at all, thanks for asking! It's neat seeing a Salmonid-centric group around here, especially since they're not as popular as the conventionally interesting Inklings and Octolings, haha.

I didn't think to click on the gallery to see the context--maybe for the future, you can title it "NSFW (GORE)" so there's less confusion? O:

I don't know. I associate NSFW with sexual content, which I'm honestly repulsed by, haha. It wasn't really specified what KIND of NSFW content it was, so I just went with my assumption. If it's just gore, that's more or less fine so long as the real bad stuff has a content filter on it--mild stuff is fine, but there's an obvious point where, yes, a content filter is needed. 
If sexual content is let in though, again, the less I personally know about that the better, haha.

Haha, It's not so much my innocence, as I just actively dislike that content. XD I like... Legit?? Don't understand it? It's kindof weird. Anyway, I tend to be keen on filtering that out of my feed, which is why I was apprehensive of getting into the group. I really should have looked at the description of that gallery, but it's cleared up now, at any rate.

But anyhow!! Thanks for being understanding of this whole situation! I apologize for any trouble. I'm glad I brought it up instead of letting it be a thing I silently stew over.

Again, it's super a personal thing. You don't need me in the group, and I don't have to be a part of it! 
I don't know if it'll put others off, but it really did for me. Salmonids are my special interest, and the less I know about any NSFW regarding them, the better. (it also makes little sense because of how salmon ACTUALLY breed, but I digress.)

Not saying this in a rude way--I can't say I agree with that! I don't think Salmonids function on a hive mind. They're just really good at working as a group because they're a school of fish. I mean, you have to consider the fact that Drizzlers are renegade soldiers that prefer to work on their own terms. This implies they have individual thought and aren't necessarily tied to one another, even though their behavior can shift dependent on the tide.

Just as well, there are lots and lots of Maws, and I think that they can be both female AND male, much like how I headcanon that Steelheads aren't just strictly male. It just kinda depends on the fish, and how they prefer to train or beef themselves up. It's just that females can gain and retain body fat better than the males can, hence why Maws are so commonly female. 

However that isn't to say that I can't see the Salmonids having a Maws-like deity, who does essentially act like a "mother" of sorts to all Salmonids. Similar to how Christianity thinks of God as the Heavenly Father. 
I also think they have multiple deities, like a Goldie one who represents fertility.

No worries, I'm just sort of constantly in the mind to discuss headcanons, even silly ones, aha. I really just love Salmonids a lot, so I take whatever opportunity I can to talk about them.
