It's always a pleasure to see someone who enjoyed spyro as much as I did I first found my love for spyro when I was five and my grandmother let me play the original for ps1 this September marks the 1 year mark from when she passed away and I was wondering how good are you with drawing spyro art and if you'd be willing to draw something like spyro and cynder with what could be their kids or something or maybe they're grandkids it's was something she always wanted to see was a new generation of spyro where he had kids with cynder

I'm a duelist myself... i use DN every once in awhile but i do use it.
i was wondering if i can join- but is there some kind of rule about how often i have to be available to duel or something?
Β (not that its a huge issue, but id like to know that before joing and be expected of something i dont always have the time for)
I am a mainstream duelist and keep up with the current meta-game so i can offer advice or tips too if asked. and have about 8 decks fully prepared on DN
Dueling has become a bigger hobby of mine in recent years and i would like to be affiliated with such a group!

There's no restrictions, non-Dn users can join too, I just want to know who uses the site so I can put your usernames on the group page so other people can find you.
Personally I've left the site (ironic, I know) I feel the meta game completely broke yugioh and moved to Cardfight!! Vanguard but I still play yugioh as long as people dont use anything from Storm of Ragnarok or later

(below is me talking about cards heh...)
storm of Ragnarock is when the Nordic, Six Samurai (i forget what else) cards came out... the Nordic arnt really that good anymore, but Six Sams are still tier 2- you either crush them like theyre a joke now or they beat you before you even know what just happened lol. 2 easiest ways to beat sams are stopping Special summon or a monster with more than 2500 atk. (since thats 90% of thier strongest cards that commonly come out)Β
nowadays- Dragon Lords aka "E-Dragons" Prophecy and Battlin' Boxer are the best, because theres no easy way to beat them until the next banlist comes along and limits the cards to balance things out.
the only real "new" change in the game is XYZ cards- (NOT to be confused with the VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon fusions!)
XYZ cards come out by "overlaying" cards of the same level. and theyre effects are limited by only being able to activate once or twice in most cases. Theyre great because unlike synchros- XYZ cards dont need any additional cards (like tuners for example)Β

I know, I followed the TCG up until the Heraldics came out, the problem is that even at teir 2 the legendary samurai are still much too powerful. The metagame makes the usage of any non-meta cards pretty much a waste of time, it's like having people in baseball using steroids, it's not fair to the people who dont want to use meta cards or simply can't afford them, when the legendary samurai got their own deck and I saw how OP fire kings and atlanteans were I just said "fuck it, I'm out"

yeah fire kings were a little redundant (blowing the field every turn cuz 1 garunix comes out and destoys the other 1 causeing the fire king loop. however- theres a lot of chances to stop garunix with bottomless or solemn judgement/warning.Β
Ive always run my Machine Deck- which a long time ago was just Machina/Ancient Gear- but now has evolved to be a fierce deck capable of easily beating any tier 2 deck within 3 turns (against the common duelist, pros usually have thier own twist to things that make them a notch better than other decks)Β

M fortress is a card thats been out for quite awhile now but becuz of his abilities, hes still capable of keeping up with the meta game- becuz of his eff that lets him keep coming back from grave sometimes 3 times in 1 turn if a player has to! The release of the XYZ "dracosack" (a $120 card currently) my machina fortress has become more important than ever since hes a spamable Lv 7 card for the dracosack
combo: stack 2 fortresses to summon dracosack- detach to activate draco eff of summoning tokens- then drop a lv 8 from hand to resummon that fortress back all at once!Β
M. Fortress in my opinion is the BEST machine card Β ever made, when you consider what its capable of in almost any machine deck.
i understand that some of the recent stuff that has come out really made the game harder for anyone not running top decks (or decks like mine that have tweaks that basically make them capable of still being good) and get why it would drive some people away- it seems whenever we enter a new gen of dueling, we always lose a few along the way cuz things are just getting ridiculousΒ
trust me, ive not had an easy time dueling against these latest decks either- the E-dragon/Prophecy/Boxer decks just came out and i cant duel against them at all...and they just released "evilswarm" and "Constellor" only like 2 months before and my deck can crush those, so im just gonna wait til these latest decks get hit by the next ban list so they'll be beatable!Β
that aside, im gona keep at it, i feel my decks capable of keeping up with the meta game right now since after the Hidden Arsenal 7 release, i made a huge edit to my deck- added the XYZ cards and added searchers in place of mirror force etc.Β

When I tested fire kings I wouldn't use two garunix, but I would have a garunix and a sacred phoenix revive simultaneously.
and my problem is I wanna use "fun" decks. stuff like synchrons, old school beatdowns , crystal beasts, etc. I think the best thing to come out of the Zexal era were the Heroic Champions, those fit my play style to a T, no hiding behind effects and using negation bullshit, just mono e mono.

hahaha- thats how my machines used to be!Β
they still are like that, minus the dracosack but now i can revive fortress more and search 1 once per turn so that i have my fields set by turn 2. afterwards- it comes down to "can i create an opening in thier field so i can hit them for game all in one shot?" since solidarity gives all my guys an 800 atk boost (and i run 3!)Β
i lack any negate power aside from 3 "dark bribes" (they are just a standard S/T counter trap. i gave up on all other types of lockdown spells/traps so i could add more searcher cards to speed up my deck.Β
the strategy is to search out my tanks and then roll over my opponent with one wave.Β
For example: Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem -i use powerbond (its poly and limiter in 1) to have him come out at 8800 atk with piercing and stops s/t cards from activating while he atks- add limiter removal and hes 17,600 atk...yeah that sums up my point i think!
as for Heroics- i added 2 Excalibur to my sams so i set the trap that summons back 2 sams from grave- and Overlay into exacalibur, eff to detach and dble his atk- then act. trap, summon those same 2 sams and overlay into second exalibur, detach and come at you with 2 4000atk excaliburs! (my sams run off the XYZ's thats how i push the 2500 limit they usually have...
now my old machine deck, its best move was getting out fortress and just trying to win with maybe 1 or 2 if i got lucky to have 2 in a duel. (thats a major difference to now where i search 1 guranteed once per turn!) and then use other cards to help line my field.
My "fun" deck is the Arcanite deck. i still have it, and its my worst deck- well built for arcanites but theyre just not good enough (they havent been for awhile) but i like arcanite cuz i would load him with spell counters- he gets 1000 atk for each, and can remove them from the field to pop cards. which i would do then atk- nothing like a wizard to "effect-ivly" destroy things! tempest magician would also ditch my hand to further load arcanite with counters (1 per card ditched) then at end turn, i would use tempest to clear off all the remaining counters to do 500 damage for each counter, which i usually amount around 3000 damage at a time with that eff- Tempest is 2200 and arcanite could be around 4400 (no counters hes at 400! but he gets 2 when summoned) so my point is to make an opening, then atk and at the end, use the effect to blast them with effect damage to hopefully put the duel away.
the weakness in this deck is that i consistenly play out my whole hand everytime, and once arcanite gets killed im out of stuff to do- so an arcanite deck has no comeback potential... unfortunatly in the current meta- cards like swords of r. l. wont help buy time cuz itl just get blown up and ul get hit for the world!
