If you say 'oi' to someone, it's uslaly a rude way of gtting their attention. Like, a jerky man says 'oi' to get the attention of her wife, and it's seen as extremely rude because he can't refer to her by name. Also, oi is used by bosses tio get the attention of their lowly employees. You really wouldn;t sa it to your freinds or buddehs.
