My username started out as reference to my experiences in the more touristy caves when I was younger as well as with video games and literature. Caves to me are full of the thrill of the unknown and the dark They have some very fascinating metaphorical roots being symbols for journeying deeper,  not just into the earth but the self.

Neat about your trip. Carlsbad is a bit too far away on a college student budget. It is definitely on my bucket list. Same with Sonora, and Inner space.

I was really lucky to catch natural bridge caverns a few years back with all the flooding. wondrous sight.
