The original has already been sold (which is quite a feat as I'm the world's worst salesman).

Congrats on the sale! It might be a liittle bit bit before I buy one. I'd want to get a canvas print on decent size which is getting up in the hundreds and I just signed a new lease agreement so I'm tight right now because of the deposits on the house and all the utilities. How do the prints work, do you have them made or are they made by dev art and you never see it? I'd love to get your signature on it with a print approval.

Thanks I never get to see the print so it's up to trusting deviantArt...I tried to set up a business printing myself but could only afford a second-hand printer and after getting really messy with it loads of times it finally died.

I took a good quality photo of this artwork with a decent camera/lens and colour matched it using calibration tools so I'd hope the print ends up nice . It's frustrating for me not knowing what people get in my name if they buy from dA. I think if you bought one and thought the quality was not good enough you should be able to get your money back - if you bought using a credit (not debit) card the credit card company covers you and if the quality was terrible you could do a chargeback and say the goods were not as described. That's if dA didn't want to help (I think they probably would and I also think a human approves the prints for quality before allowing your purchase).

From what I read on here and combined with my taking a good photo, I reckon the quality should be good. They use excellent printers, inks and canvas. There is some useful info on buying prints here if you've not seen it:

Also I Googled 'deviantart print quality' and got some useful results including a video review by an artist who ordered a print of his own work.

I don't know what I can do about the signature but if you have any ideas I'd be happy to help (bearing in mind I am quite 'financially restricted') I'm in the UK, I guess you're not?
