I just submitted my first deviations and I must say...I'm rather impressed. Didn't think I could come up with something like this set. Personally, I think the third submission, "Slope avec le sol" is a little more intimate than the others.

Think about it, here you can see the corner of the lips and it's as if the photograph has a life of its own. Instead of simply being a landscape, there is the possibility of life here, of promise. One becomes aware that the subject is a person who lives, breathes, loves and hates. They are a landscape, yes, comprised of gentle slopes and sharp angles, but they're so much more. They're skin and blood, tears and laughter, everything that makes you you, makes them them. That little corner turn of a smile is what makes that photograph human, more of a person than the other three.

Then again, I could just be over analyzing the photograph and making too big a deal out of some trivial detail. You decide.
