About Me
Formerly a professional and successful singer/songwriter/musician and after touring, performing and recording a CD in America from 2001-2004 returned home to Australia and began to pursue an art career.
Born in Hamburg, Germany. Moved to Australia with my parents when a young child.
I currently reside on the Southern NSW coast of Australia.
Studied art with world renowned artist Howard David Johnson in 2006-2008. Was mentored privately by a former University Art Teacher.
I work primarily with acrylics, oils and impasto medium.
Primarily influenced by the work of the old impressionist and pre-raphaelite masters. My artwork is predominantly spiritual/religious for which I am most known and commissioned for. My personal faith is extremely deep and I pour that great love and faith into each and every painting.
Horses are also a great passion of mine and in my depictions of then I focus on their personality, form, power and movement.
The eyes of all my subjects are where I excel, bringing the light and life to shine within them which draws the viewer in and makes a connection with the subject.
I strive for one important element in my workβ¦to evoke emotion in the viewer. I focus on power, movement and form with which to draw in the viewer and inspire an emotional response.

Noticed that you haven't been here on dA for awhile (10 weeks absence as of March 22nd, 2014).
Anyway, I do hope that you are doing OK.
I just happened to come across a comment that you left for someone on a piece that they did of St. Maximilian Kolbe and I remembered that you are a committed Roman Catholic, so I decided to swing by your page here on dA.

awww that's so nice...you make me want to paint her even more now! I know how you feel too...my girls feature a lot on my artworks and they love it....they are the lights of my life and are also both seriously artistic.
I sell all my work mostly on Ebay and my collectors are loopy over my children paintings...but if you like the painting I will do of your daughter then I'll let you know the base price and you can let me know if you'd be happy with that. I don't pain large works unless I'm commissioned for them. It would probably be a painting of about 9" x 12" as that's my most popular size on Ebay. And I paint on flat canvas boards that need to be framed.
And I love Michael Shapcott's work...he's been a favourite of mine for a long time...that's how I came across your images

Cool, that would make me VERY happy! So where are you in Oz? I have friends in Brisbane and have done the east coast from Sydney to Cairns! I spent the entire time there thinking "someone offer me a job, I could stay here forever"! I've never been to another country where I felt so immediately at home!

I know, aren't we lucky to live in this country? I was born in Germany but raised in Australia from the age of 4. I love this land, it's my home and I spend a lot of time on the land. I work with racehorses as my second job. Art is my other income and great love.

I live 2 hours south of Sydney in a town called Nowra. It's a beautiful place. I love it here.
I'm going to squeeze in a painting of your daughter as soon as I can ok? And don't stress about price. I'm very reasonable. I do take into account that we are living in tough economical times. And we can always work something out if you love what I've painted. I'll give you first opportunity to let me know if you'd like to purchase, if not, that's fine, I can sell it elsewhere.
