Yeah. Its the newer version, made in 1994 so it probably is the one you have. The book is different from the movie, obviously, but they kept some parts the same. For the most part.

No not really. Like in the book, Jo goes to New York before Laurie asks her to marry him and Jo has many other books already published. Then there are other parts between Amy and Laurie and other stuff like that. The book is pretty long too... O_o
