# About me

What can I say? I'm a writer and artist and a History and Fine Art double-major at McMurry University. Also a harpist and singer. Also a farmer's daughter. Also a huge fan of not wearing shoes, nature, baking, tea, and books.

I tend to let my imagination play tricks on the world...

I learned photography with my little Casio Exilm point-and shoot. I've had it since '07, it's covered in stickers, and parts of the outer plastic have broken off. :D it usually does what I tell it to, but since May of 2010 I've had a Cannon Rebel and I love it so much I have to carry extra memory cards wherever I go because I tend to fill them up.

I also do other sorts of artwork, pretty much every sort that I come across. I haven't managed to get much of that up on here, but I'm working on it.

If you were to peek in on me on a normal day, I'd be making art, practicing my music, or trying to edit my novel. Or, I might be watching cooking competition shows or documentaries on the internet. It depends on my mood and how badly my allergies are affecting my eyes.
