The alienware theme is not mine, it came with a package called "AlienGUIse". I dont know if you can still download it but my advice is to google it and find out. Sorry I cant help you any more.

Well most artists will probably use Windows Style Builder, its a really easy program to use that does the bulk of the work for you, all you need to do is implement your images into the program, however you do have to pay for the software. As for actually creating the images in the first place either photoshop, illustrator or Microsoft Expression.
If you are new to this i would suggest looking around the internet for tutorials because it can be quite tricky to get into the flow of making the styles, due to the amount of different images and their properties that have to taken into consideration.

Errrrr thats a bit of a hard one to be honest as i dont think my art has a genre, but i guess if you had to put a style on it, it would be classed as simplistic and minimalistic. I mean that just covers my pc art, i do a bit of drawing here and then and that is mostly like old school, as in the tatto style (google it and you will see what i mean). in my art i try to clean it clean cut and simple as the most simple and minimalistic can always be the most eye pleasing. The time period is now, as in it can be modern but my art has no real time period and is more of a here and now thing and very on the stop. I am very OCD about little details, for example right now i am building a pc through the company i work for and the entire of the internals have been completely colour coded and if they aren't at stock i have special ordered parts to match it even if it mean paying a little bit more. Any artwork i do wether it be computer base or other is very experimental and i am usually trying new things which can result in breaking stuff or ruining bits a pieces. The media is a lot, drawing, animations (a lot of which is un released) website design and a lot more basically. So i know i have kind of ranted on a bit but to sum it all up basically my artwork is varied in every media and style but the time period is always now and purely spontaneous. hi could u help me plz i have windows 7 64 bit version. i installed and used the ux theme patcher. then i downloaded 2 custom themes from this website jsut to make sure that it worked. they both worked. and then i installed this them i put both the files in the resources/themes folder and then when i clicked on the theme file it changed my theme to a windows 98 theme why did this happen could u plz help me ??? and reply back to me a.s.a.p

It probably means that the theme is broken or your us theme patcher is broken, the best thing to do is uninstall the themes and patcher and try applying the default windows 7 theme. Try reinstalling the themes and patcher to see if it works

i really need your help bout changing the start-orb. i can't change the explorer.exe since i don't know how to take ownership on it, am using windows7 x64 by the way. the skull theme was successfully installed but it's not max since the start-orb still the same.

Pretty much what you need to do is find a PNG version of the photoshop logo and then basically you cut and paste different peices of the logo ontop of itself to make new letters oh and of course you need to erase the layers you create underneath the new ones its quite easy once you get going really

I don't know how to send a PM lol, so ill just explain what i did here.
Use the Aero.theme files as a foundation, simply open it in notepad.
To change the name that will be displayed in the theme selection area, 5th line down, you will see "DisplayName=" after that, type the name of your theme.
To change/set the wallpaper that opens with the theme once it's installed, look further down till you see "[Control Panel\Desktop]", and under it you will see "Wallpaper=" after this copy and paste the address to the wallpaper that will go with your theme. To make this less hassle, put the wallpaper image in the folder with the msstyles file, then the address "C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\-name of theme folder-\-name of image-.jpg"
Under that, you will see;
[VisualStyles]
Path=%ResourceDir%\Themes\-name of theme\name of theme.msstyles
Pretty self explanatory.
NOTE: the .theme and .msstyles file, and the folder containing the .msstyle all MUST have the same name, otherwise sh*t goes wrong.
Oh and, in the folder containing the Aero.msstyles, both the folders "EN-US" and "Shell" need to be distributed with your theme, otherwise it wont work.
