Welcome to my profile

Here you can find a selection of works i made in the past couple of years.
I am a 3rd year Fine Arts student at the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam.
My focus lies mainly with painting and drawing. I research many different materials and techniques, and work on developing my own language and style.
I love playing with vanishing points, tones, colors, gray values, composition, layers, patterns, rhythm, and the removing and adding of information to pictures.
I find consistancy in my work just as important as diversity in subjects. I also want to show lucidity or 'klaarheid' in my work, something i believe is only achievable in art.

And thank you for adding me to your favorites :) (Smile) I'm also an admirer of Chuck Close :D (Big Grin) and i wondered if you ever saw the works of Phillip Akkerman, who paints a portrait everyday. and Levi van Veluw, he makes really cool portrait photo's. They also inspire me a lot. And i really like your work too!

I just checked out Akkerman and Levi Van Veluw, I am thinking about doing similar forms like his and some other art like that of Picasso's early 1920's portraits and like the Spanish muralist David Siqueiros. I like your the mesh structural forms of your work, I've been searching for forms like yours to study.

When I was little this commercial was on TV and I remember it whenever I think of the kind of look I would want.

Soms snap ik niet waarom sommige kunstuitingen niet opvallen binnen DA, jouw profiel ziet er echt vet uit met een eigen style! Nou ik hou het in ieder geval in de gaten! Thanks again! :D (Big Grin)

:D (Big Grin) Ik snap het ook niet echt. ik denk dat er hier gewoon te veel afbeeldingen te zien zijn. En maar weinig echte kunst..tenzij je ontelbaar veel foto's van katten en en bloemen tot kunst rekent :) (Smile) Maar ik ben blij dat mn profiel jou wel is opgevallen! Als je wilt kun je me ook op facebook toevoegen..ik gebruik dat vooral voor mijn kunstnetwerk zegmaar..en je weet maar nooit waar het goed voor is :D (Big Grin)

Dankje :D (Big Grin) ! Je moet goed zoeken dan vind je ook echt goede artiesten. Maar doe jij trouwens nog wat in de kunst? Zit je op de kunstacademie?
Nee eerste foto's op mn dA zijn slecht ( niet op bloemetjes letten hahahha) , ik moet er nog veeeeeel veel meer opzetten Wink/Razz ! Maarja dat wordt de zomervakantie xD. Kheb namelijk een camera gekregen en daar heb ik dit jaar 3300 foto' s ( dat zie je op iphoto) mee gemaakt. En dat is nog niet eens een heel jaar vanaf december ( ik ben dus erg fan van foto's schieten) maar ik denk dat het gelijk loopt aan mn tekeningen, iedere dag wel een paar in de les xD )
Studieee Wink/Razz , ik wil naar de kunstacademie in Zwolle! en dan daar verder gaan! eerst nog een jaar mijn havo afmaken bij mensen die 2 jaar jonger dan mij zijn en dan daarheen als dat kan. Ik wil ook graag dit jaar alvast toelating doen voor de zekerheid!
