Indeed, its strange how soon high school will be all over. Are you taking any portfolio subjects like design or painting?

That's a shame. Can't say I know anyone who's looking into joining one either at this stage, despite our school's recent battle of the bands competition.

Nah, I am so gutted - all my years at College, I missed out on taking art because of some science extension subject I was made to take in Yr9 and 10. Which then meant I couldn't take art in 5th, 6th or 7th form because I didn't have the pre-requisites.

So I've just been teaching myself and I occasionally go to the art room where some of my mates do painting and I get ideas etc from there.

YEah it sucks...I have a vocalist and possible 2nd guitarist/bassist, but no drummer (because I can't play guitar and drums at the same time!) and no official bassist. But I'm looking

Darn that sucks, schools can be so restricting like that. Then again, so is the art curriculum so maybe you haven't missed much. I've done most of the art subjects right the way through high school so I'm racing for externals at the moment, no pressure! haha

Sounds like you've made a good start on getting one together. Good luck with your member hunting =] Do you write much of your own music or focus more on covers?
