I can understand that, I am myself a bit edgy bout my OCs. But I try to ignore people when they call my OCs mary sue's or other things. I mostly get hate because of my main OC mechanical leg.

I found you through a troll journal. Telling me to block this account and new account. But I wanted to see for myself how much of a troll you really are, instead of just blindly do what that person said.

Yeah... Overpowering is indeed a hard thing to avoid. I actually do have multiple OCs who are overpowered to roleplay with, but I would only use them for people who I know dont mind and have rather OP OCs themselves.

And Yeah. I gotta admit, it's hard to see a pony with a metal leg, but I guess if human can have it, why not ponies in a dimension/universe where they would be the supreme species, right? They have an entire medical system for crying out loud ^^

For me... yeah... The first and most holy rule for creating an OC is to NOT have it related to any mane character. And seeing as the CMCs have their own dedicated episodes... I would call them main characters.

All my OC's know who the mane six are. Be honest... you dont save the entire country three times and dont get your name in a paper or two.

But really... that tagalong character... call it what you want, its scoot with a bloody penis.

Some people disagree, but the people that usually agree with me just let it slide.

Ahem, For your information some people use Pony Creator even if they can draw, like me for example. Some use it because they dont have anything to scan there drawings onto the computer, others use it because its a very awesome thing.

My art is in roleplaying and I use the builder to give my characters a face, not that they always tend to stay that way, but... it's a nice tool to make the roleplay come alive.

What can you do?
