Hey, no problem! I actually really enjoy your work. I must ask, how long have you been doing this sort of work and what led up to it? A lot of practice, no doubt, but any classes, or mostly self taught? I've wanted to get into the speed painting realm, but I lack some of the basic fundamentals, mostly in the area of color mixing and whatnot. Is there a place you'd recommend to start at? I'm trying to do some self-training over the summer before classes start back up again in the fall and would be most appreciative if you had any tips for someone wanting to get into this sort of art.

Hello
I am glad you enjoy my work, thank you : )
As for me i have been painting for almost 3 years now , haven't been doing any traditional before i got my first tablet . At fist i jsut have been painitng for myself , tring to be more serious for over year now : ). Im 100% self taught ofc not including my friends pointing out my mistakes . If it comes to speedpainting its mostly extension of really good undestanding of principles , you have to be able to paint stuff before you will do it fust , speed just comes with practice : ). For learnng tips i jsut can tell you to be aware of what do you want to learn this time and make it very selective , dont do like whole picture studies , pointless . Can't many more tips because its good that you are doing whatever you want (worked for me at least ) : ]
If you need to find some artist and potential crituque i can give you [link] also [link] nice streams : D i stream there too so dont hesitate to visit sometimes : )

This is great! Thanks for the info and links. I'll be sure to start messing on my own and possibly start posting up what I can. I will definitely try to hit up some of the livefeed stuff when I'm available. What times do you normally try to get on at?
