Estoy muy triste porque desde que era más joven eras uno de mis ejemplos a seguir. Tengo en mis manos uno de los libros que hicieron (con Ikari Studio) sobre manga paso a paso de hadas y criaturas mágicas, desde hace años. Hoy en día lo sigo buscando a la hora de referencias e inspiración. Pensé en buscarte y ver más de tus trabajos recientes pero me enteré de la horrible noticia... No tengo palabras. También pensé que podría dejarte algún mensaje y quizás lo sólo lo leerías o con muchísima suerte responderías, pero no podrá ser. Gracias por tanto y por tan preciosas obras. Espero que a donde hayas ido puedas seguir dibujando y creando por siempre.

Rest in peace, Vandrell was an amazing artist and I'll be foerver gratefull with him for teaching me how to draw when I was a kid with his How to Draw Manga book
