The works shown here all relate to characters and items featured in our universe called Wild Space.The Wild Space Saga is a series of stories and webcomics we are writing based around a few individuals and their struggle to survive in an increasingly hostile universe.

What inspired you to make Wild Space Saga? You have human and anthro couples, that’s rare, glad to find another, but you don’t strike me as a furry, do you use anthros as a story device too?

Wild Space Saga is something that I (Brandon) had in my mind for many years, and when Terry and I started talking about it, we began incorporating our own unique characters into the universe to bring it to life. I was inspired by old 80s cartoons like Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, and Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, while Terry's contributions give it a sort of crime drama in space feel. So it's a hodgepodge of action tropes set in a space opera milieu. I hope this answers your question!

Sorry about the long wait for my two cents'. I'm Brandon, the other half of Wild Space Saga. I guess you could call me a furry, but only because I love furry art and some furry stories. But yeah, what Terry said is pretty much what it is. We're certainly using Felyans as a story device. I hope you'll follow us as we reveal more. The DA account hasn't been terribly active as of late, but we're working on a lot in the background. So we'll have more put up soon! And thanks for the question!

It’s nice to run into another sci-fi writer, how often do you get to work on your material?
I’ve read wss 1 to 3 , the other books are named differently, are they side stories ?

Btandon and I have known each other for about 18 years and WSS itself has been 13 years in the making. We do work on dialogue together and often we will work on what does and doesn't work very well. I tend to keep the conversation short, with a bit of banter and Brandon often ends up trying to get as much exposition into a speech as he can. But between us we find a way to make the dialogue work. We do disagree often and usually it's me that gets hot under the collar but we've been working on it too long to abandon it over harsh words so we tend to find a way. We try and work on it as often as we can but as ever life can limit our time. Plus 4000 miles separate us so finding time to discuss things is often a challenge. Finally, yes, we have a series of stories called Tales of Wild Space that help lay the ground work for the main WSS story. Many of them are set many years before and help establish some background about some of our characters.

That's possibly because Brandon is, whereas I (Terence) am not so our differing points of view allow us to add a level of depth to the WSS universe.
The relationship between Felyans and Humans is a major part of our overall story arc as latent psychic abilities are significantly enhanced within hybrid offspring. I don't want to say any more as I don't want to reveal too much about what is to come

I notice you're from the UK! What part? I've visited England and Scotland.
I found that a lot of people here in the U.S. don’t know much about their own country,
much less anyone else's.
I post prayer updates about different countries. Part of the reason is to raise awareness
about what's going on in the rest of the world. Recently I’ve started my own private initiative;
if I notice someone on DA is from another country, if I've done their country I let them know.
It’s my way of letting them know that others are thinking about their home.
