I am so happy to hear that you're doing better! I've been watching your sister here on DA for quite a long time, and just discovered today that you yourself were on here.
Through your sister, I've seen and read your story. You've dealt with such crippling losses that I do not know what to say, but I admire your strength through it all.
You should tell your story. As hard as that may be. Educate others about the harm drunk driving can really do.
Hari was a hero, and will be remembered forever. I myself have lost someone close, my brother whom was a green beret in the army, so I know that feeling well.
Please tell your story. Be it at conventions, schools, churches, wherever you can.
I wish you speedy recovery, good health, and a long, wonderous life, the greatest gift that could ever be given.

I too know what it's like to be crippled; though what I had wasn't as serious. It was a broken right 5th metatarsal, or a Jones fracture, that I had. Anyway, it must suck to be in crutches. You feel so limited. Some of your liberties have been taken away from you. It's hard. But at least your arms get a good workout. You have to be strong in order to cope with something like that. Glad to know you have help, and the will to live.
