Oh god renovation sounds are the worst but funnily enough the same happened to me! we are retiling our bathroom floor and the fireplace and the builders sure arent quiet!

Well it leaks more than floods... But we've had to fix the water cylinder the first time... okay about three times... and then the hallway floor (Between me and practically every part of the house - including the front door) and bathroom, and now the bathroom again... But this house is like 30 years old anyway...
