# About me

Hey, I'm YoakeKodomo. (Yoake means 'dawn', and kodomo means 'child', so my deviant name means Dawn Child in Japanese.) Call me Yoake for short.

I think I'm a deviant because I don't like being normal. I can be very random and the same for my friends. I like almost all music, and never bother to have a favorite song because it practically changes everyday. Also, I fail as a girl. Just ask my friends.

I much appreciate views and faves of pictures, I just don't thank faves because 'THX for the fave' can get pretty overdone after awhile. If you you give me a llama, I look at your gallery and give one back.

Meh. So I keep putting off that Academy stuffs. I take too long to draw one thing really. It takes me awhile to actually complete just the line art of a picture (much more to color it in). I know what three characters (four if I count the history teacher) I want to submit. Buuuut... idk when I'll get around to it.
What was your inspiration to the academy thing?

Oh, Okay. And thank you. :) (Smile) Hmm... the academy was when I had to come up with an idea for a story in my creative writing class, think... two years ago(?). Anyway, I had these five characters, all boys and I was trying to figure out what to do with them. Since three were adult and two were teens, I started looking up uniforms, figuring they'd work at the same place. Of course, I got off track and started looking at private school uniforms, which lead to schools themselves and eventually I got so absorbed, I designed an entire story around it. Sweating a little... Kind of sad, I know.

As for characters, mostly from items around my house and music. Ex: Limber is from one of my mom's old, over-sized sweaters and the song 'Defying Gravity' from Wicked.

That's not sad at all! Stories are meant to come from times of overthinking something. If that's sad, then professional writers are so overblown.

And the way you come up with characters is awesome. I just mostly think of what type of personality is lacking from my story and then build the character around that. Boring~
I think only once a song has inspired a character. And that's this girl named Hazel and I used the song 'More like her' by Miranda Lambert.
