# About me
Hi, I'm Amy. I'm a painter, a photographer and have been known to do a bit of sculpting, batik and crafts of all sorts. So look out for random side tracking in my gallery!I studied Fine Art (Sculpture), at Edinburgh College of Art and History of Art at Edinburgh University. Graduated 2003. Since then, I have travelled in Asia extensively, studying Batik techniques in Indonesia and Chinese painting in Beijing. My art these days is a mixture of all these influences. Often Abstract, sometimes surreal, usually colourful.
In 2010 my baby boy Hunter was born, and in 2012 my baby girl Talyn joined the crew, so I am blessed and incredibly busy! I do my best to fit in a part time job, freelance design work, photography and a little bit of self indulgant arting whenever I get the chance!

Hello old friend! How are you? Its good to be back. I've been consumed by my kiddies. oldest one goes to school next Monday and then just the wee one to go... But I'm loving doing a bit more painting again! My creative soul was screaming at me for the last year or so.

Amy--wonderful to hear from you! sounds like you've got your hands full. but i bet your kids are adorable, even if they are tearing up the house. are they getting into your paints and brushes? that would be great. my life is a bit wobbly. i'm staring at some health issues, but my cat and my girlfriend will help me get through it all. so did you get to glastonbury this year? someday i'd really love to go there. and then go roaming through the highlands.

Sounds like a great idea for a tour of Britain! I've never been to Glastonbury or Stone henge - which is near by I think? But that is all down South! Make sure you visit Edinburgh and get in touch with me before hitting the Highlands!
I really hope your health improves and you get through what ever you are faced with. A girlfriend to hold your hand and a cat for pet therapy is a very good support base. Good luck!
My kids are very sweet natured on the whole. The boy is 5, very sensitive and loves running. The girl is a very funny 2 year old at the moment, much mirth from her cheeky wee soul. I'm fascinated to see how they grow up!

Children need so much attention mothers can't always find time for personal activities.
I didn't do very much until my three were in their late teens.
Now I haven't not much to do so I waste time fiddling with this to avoid being bored!
