No, I do not get jealous - It is not the authors doing if it makes it to the DTFs, it is the audience who do that.
If you want yourself on the front page, perhaps get your name out there - but with plenty of constructive commenting, you will soon build up an audience who will surely love your art too. I mean that because you have some good things to show. Do not rely on people viewing thumbnails on the front page.

"Three step tutorial to terragen" Mmmm, perhaps you could have been a little more constructive. It just sounds like a bad case of jealousy as it stands. And no, your tut would not get you a fav - just a whole lot of advice if you were ever to lower yourself and attempt it.

Well it looks like your work is pretty much done in Vue or Bryce.... they dont exactly have great modelling tools... maybe you could look into more highend packages like maya, lightwave, max or softimage...
most of these softwares have free trial versions if you're really interested....
