Hey Ms. Ayumi-studio, why are you looking for Deep Purple doujinshi by Prin huh? So that you can copy more of Prin's works and claim that you drew them??? I hope everyone follows that link to Prin's doujinshi and sees first hand who really drew those drawings you claim to be yours. Gosh, you could at least have the decency to mention her name, but you don't. You could at least give her credit, and admit that you just want to copy her works. But no. Do you have any idea how hard it is for a real artist to come up with works like that?! Have you ever tried drawing artworks that are truly and originally yours? That I'd like to see! I hope your conscience nags at you for doing such a horrible thing to Prin-sensei. And my god! You even claim credit for Takehiko Inoue's works? You say it's your fanart when the drawing is obviously a scan from the Slam Dunk manga! Did you really thing that the fans will not recognize this?!

I guess she never claimed to have draw Deep Purple @.@
I repeat once again... she is not updating this gallery anymore, and I can't to this for her...
I know she didn't follow DA or net etiquette but she din't said that Inoue Sensei (that she really love) copied from her @.@
I guess this was a misunderstanding of what I've wrote before (I repeat, I'm not english native speaker), but that was MY words in any case T_T;;;; not hers...
She's not looking at this pages anymore...
and I guess she don't care of DA or drawing fanarts anymore.
"You say it's your fanart when the drawing is obviously a scan from the Slam Dunk manga! "
It's is not true... that piece of paper was in my hand and MORE bigger and the original manga page...

I posted in FOR MS.AYUMI-STUDIO because a lot of the artworks she 'claims to be her works' are really artworks of a famous doujinshika named Prin (the author of the Deep Purple doujinshi). She took them, posted them in her gallery (or copied them to the tee, or whatever it is she claims she did with it-), and didn't even give Prin-sensei due credit! Sometimes she even says that it is her own idea! That is very wrong. There are a lot of people out there who will immediately recognized who really drew those artworks and know that ayumi-studio is lying. And even if she DID copy it, SHE SHOULD GIVE PRIN CREDIT BECAUSE IT IS STILL PRIN'S ORIGINAL IDEA & NOT HERS. THAT IS SIMPLE COURTESY. ayumi-studio always says she hates Rukawa but SHE KEEPS COPYING HE WORKS OF PEOPLE WHO LOVE RUKAWA, I don't think that's a very proper thing to do. IT IS TERRIBLE! SHE IS NOT ONLY STEALING, BUT ALSO INDIRECTLY ASSAULTING THE ARTIST IN THIS WAY. If she hates Rukawa so much, then don't copy works of people who love Rukawa, and claim that it is yours. It is a very insulting! A true artist would never do this to a fellow artist. Only posers & wannabe's would.

I'm sorry but half the stuff in your gallery is other people's art. Deviantart is a place only for posting your original artwork, not pictures you like or think are good. Even if you eyeball an artwork (attempt to copy freehand what another person has drawn) you need to credit the original artist. Tracing is 100% not allowed. You lies are blantent and disguisting. You should take down all the artwork that is not yours immediately.

Ayumi purtroppo si è dimenticata alcuni link nelle descrizioni (che però cmq nn aveva) e lei pensa che tutta la gallery non sia roba sua...

You're talking without know anything about ayumi, saying all these lies without first talking to her and ask to her if your thoughts are true. Yours are only conjectures. Give me an evidence of what you're saying.
Yes Ayumi did a lot of FANARTS as categories of her entries says, but SHE did every pics in the gallery.
I'm one of her friends and I saw with my own very eyes and touched her drawings, her FANART. She's really talented and I can't let you saying these groundless suspicions.

i'm not saying she's not a good artist - i'm saying there are pictures in her gallery that she didn't draw which she claims she did. I KNOW she didn't draw them because I OWN copies of the Doujinshi she has stolen them from. And I have doubled checked myself to make sure they weren't her own versions of the picture, but they are *indentical*

I've just talked by phone with ayumi.
I didn't know she taken inspiration from a doujinshi for some pics of Rukawa and Sendoh. And for these I have to apologize. But there's the fact she didn't has the link of the picture she downloaded months before she done the fanarts. It's not her fault, but she clearly pointed it is a fanart as category says.
So is clear she did a fanart of a fanart (doujinshi) but she hasn't the link of the images.
it is also clear and i'm SURE that SHE did that fanarts.
In this period she hasn't the possibility to change the description and i can't do it for her.
So trust me/us these fanarts are all made by her.

The pictures which I know to not be hers are
[link] and [link] which are not free hand copies of but are *identical to* pictures by P-Rhythm in her doujinshi Deep Purple. Due to the fact she is lying about being the artist of these works I have doubts about the authenticity of her other pieces.

You can believe us or not... she explain to me she use a method like that [link] to study and copying the image of this doujinshi. She didn't left a link of the original image coz she didn't find anymore the direct link.
I saw these 2 works (and notice... only 2. You said half gallery...). I've touched these two woks and saw with my eyes her working on these 2 fanarts. One has been framed and it's in her room.
You can believe us or not, but I'm quite angry coz she teach me everything about drawing and she studied a lot making fanarts of Inoue, and as you said, fanarts of this doujinshi and copying and studing from other mangas she like.
It is quite an insult saying she traced or she has stolen something. I never seen her making something like that and she's quite proud enough to avoid these things.
Her mistake was not to specify in the description (but only in these 2 fanarts) from what she has taken inspiration, as she lost the direct link.
Now she can't change the description cause she hasn't a connection at home, but I told her to change it as soon as possible.
And that's all.

If this girl was as good as Takehiko Inoue & Prin-sensei, wow! She should make her own manga or get international acclaim by now! Those 2 artists I mentioned are very well-known, and it appears that only Ms. Ayumi & you are ignorant about how popular they are to actually think that you can pull this off. Heck, if she can ink like Takehiko Inoue & color like Prin, then she should draw original works instead of always copying other people's images (I'd certainly like to see that!), no, she didn't even copy it, she just scanned or got them & re-posted it here claiming it as her own. Only someone who can't draw would do such a sick thing. I can clearly state which works she claims to be hers. Walk into a bookstore, and you will CERTAINLY find ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR MANGAS IN THE WHOLE WORLD: SLAM DUNK by TAKEHIKO INOUE-sensei. ONLY EVERYBODY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD WHO TRULY LOVES ART & MANGA KNOWS WHO HE IS.

I am 30 yrs.old, and I am a manga & doujinshika enthusiast so I am very well-versed with works of Takehiko Inoue & Prin-sensei, the artists from whom ms.ayumi-studio often copies or "gets" her work from. I just really think what she's doing isn't right. She is not being respectful to the original artists. She shouldn't do that. I know she is your friend, and if you don't believe me, I can show you the original comicbooks from which she 'copied' or even 'scanned' those works. No alterations were made at all in ayumi-studio's versions. Furthermore, she did not even give the original artists credit. That is why I saying all this. I am a big fan of the artists she is getting works from. I hope you understand. I am only very concerned for their sakes.

Well... you're speaking in present tense.
These drawings were made I guess when Ayumi was 18-19 yo (now, we're 26). Now -unfortunately in my opinion- she don't draw anymore.
We went to the university together and become friends. She was really talented. I know that you don't think so, and its' difficult for me to make you understand without showing you the "evidences".
I've spend my whole high school life thinking I was good at drawing, but she was better than me.
I saw her works and even her working during our class. I was a little sad to see someone drawing like this without taking any art class. Her art class was making fanartt. In my opinion, I don't know if her considered making fanarts like an sort of art school, but I saw her improving making these fanarts.
We were young, and the internet was coming in our life at that time. I know she didn't gave proper credits to all the stuff here, because (as even now happends) we just didn't know the importance to do this.
I learn too to give proper credit "living" on DA. My gallery is full of credits to even who just give me and idea of what to draw!
Now, Ayumi for personal reasons and also because she is grown up and she don't draw or read mangas anymore, is not updating her gallery since ages.
I'm still here, and I want to defend her from attacks. Because I saw the drawings, and I know she made them.
I know that she maybe was wrong with some behaviours, and maybe she wasn't follow the net etiquette, but the drawings WEREN'T traced at all!!
And I just can't stop saying that... T_T
If you want, I gave some "evidences" in this journal -> [link]
and -> [link]
I know she made fanarts from P-rhythm works, but she didn't traced that... I don't know how better i could explain this T_T

Oh and by the way, I've seen your works, and I think they're lovely. Sorry, but I think you are a better artist than ms.ayumi-studio, simply because you have your own original ideas. I can clearly see your "IDENTITY" in your art. And to me that is the most beautiful thing about drawing. Seeing another person's heart & soul through their works.

The point is that Ayumi doesn't draw anymore... seriusly, this is sad
She did a lot of fanarts as me or maybe as many other people. Many many people star drawing copying other one works.
But she developed a style. Influenced by Inoue's one, but kinda personal.
The problem is that she has stopped to draw when she was improving, and I started improving after know her. I consider her one of my teacher because, as I already tell you, I've spent my high school time thinking I was good, but when I saw her works (and we have the same age) she was more and more better than me. This was the reason I've started to improve myself, above all as regards colors. She was fantastic with colors! And she taught me a lot!
That's why I keep defending her and why I'm sad because she's not drawing anymore
I think that if she had continued to draw she
has developed its own style and now she would be better than me :3
