The first book was okay...it had a few pages of recap and then there was an attack on the Texan Embassy by the Allied States.
The weird part is that they depicted Major Beck still taking orders from his superiors in Cheyenne, even though he resigned at the end of the series finale and appeared to be on the way to a court martial. I hope they explain it in the next issue, because Major Beck still in the military goes against canon--and the comics are supposed to be a continuation of the show (same writers and everything).
I'm still waiting for Jonah to show up (as you may have guessed). I'm going to be really angry if they killed him off!
