Thank you so much. It really means a lot whenever someone gives me some kind words of encouragement. I've finished radiation and chemo pills and I'm getting ready for surgery to remove then tumor than I'll have 4 months of intravenous chemo. I have a long way to go but I have so much support from family, friends and awesome people like you that I know I'll be able to get through this! Thank you again. And if you ever have questions about art I'm happy to give my humble opinion and advice.

Thanks, scales are a bitch and I struggle with them all the time. My advice is to pay attention to the curve of the body of the animal you are putting scales on. If the body curves but the scales don't properly follow the curve it throws everything off. Look at really good dragons or koi drawings and pay attention to the pattern of the scales. Random scales hurt the look but a tight pattern that follows the curve of the body will help the animal to look correct. Hope that helps. Thanks for the interest in my work!

I use berol prismacolor markers for drawings and a combo of the prismacolor markers and sharpies for my canvas projects. I also use prismacolor colored pencils for my colored pencil drawings. Thanks for the interest in my work!

Can you draw for me a samurai oni mask with a mermaid geisha wraping her arms around it. Aslo waves around it with some angry koi fish, cherry blossoms, lotis flowers and the rising sun with an angry face in the background? I will use it to make a tattoo.
